In this role, you will operate specialized roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of waste or recyclable materials, ensuring safe and timely deliveries across various routes. Your expertise will keep operations running smoothly while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties
- Safely operate roll-off trucks on local delivery routes
- Load, secure, and unload freight, or waste containers following proper procedures and safety protocols
- Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain truck safety and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Log work orders and follow direction from our Routing App.
- Pre-Trip and Post Trip Inspections are a must.

Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, with an emphasis on roll-off experience
- Strong knowledge of truck loading/unloading procedures and manual handling techniques
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking
- Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods
- Ability to operate trucks confidently and safely over long distances on OTR routes
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service excellence
