Mel-o-dee Ice Cream is seeking an HR Generalist to oversee the activities of 70+ team members. The candidate will be responsible for accounts receivable function of the company.
Two full business days each week at the Los Angeles and Santa Ana facilities. Three full business days per week working from the home office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Anticipatory and defense planning.
- Create or review all disciplinary and congratulatory documents and policies.
- Onboard all new associates.
- Train mid-level managers on HR topics.
- Interface, assist and support the payroll functions.
- Maintain accurate and complete employee records.
- Monitor and enact new labor laws, codes and requirements for the company.
- Resolve disputes, filings and actions
- Qualifications:
- Must be detailed and extremely accurate in work.
- Must be highly organized and capable of working independently in a fast paced environment.
- Must be proactive, self-starter, be able to multi-task and independently follow through.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR and payroll-related work experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skill.
- Strong HR document production skills.
Preferred Qualification: Full-time Monday through Friday 8:00 - 5:00 or 7:00 - 4:00 PM
