Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Patient Experience & Communication: Welcoming patients, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and ensuring a comfortable, welcoming environment.
- Scheduling & Appointments: Managing the, dentist's schedule for maximum efficiency, confirming appointments, and filling cancellations.
- Administrative & Data Management: Registering new patients, updating patient files, maintaining electronic records, and scanning documents.
- Financial & Insurance Procedures: Verifying insurance benefits, explaining coverage to patients, collecting payments at the time of service, and managing billing/collections.
Essential Skills for the Role:
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication for patient interaction.
- Organization: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones while checking in a patient.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of dental softwares for scheduling and billing.
- Dental Knowledge: Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures to effectively explain treatment plans
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
