Staff Geologist/Staff Engineer (0-5 years experience EIT Preferred)
Geotechnical engineering firm is seeking a Staff Geologist/Staff Engineer to work in the San Diego area. The candidate should have earned a BS in Civil Engineering (an emphasis in geotechnical is preferred), and an EIT certificate is preferred. Familiarity with earthwork/grading and foundation construction a plus. Candidate will participate in performing geotechnical and geological investigations. Working under our professionals the employee will be expected to perform all aspects of field investigations and earthworks construction support including; site recon and research, borehole logging and in-situ sampling, laboratory testing, soil classification, accurate and detailed documentation of field activities. ACI cert and a 4X4 vehicle is a plus.
