Job Description:
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all client shifts are consistently staffed by managing caregiver schedules and coordinating real-time coverage. This role focuses on matching caregivers to clients based on skillset, availability, and compatibility while maintaining flexibility to respond to call-outs, schedule changes, and urgent staffing needs.
The Scheduling Coordinator builds and maintains weekly schedules, communicates updates with caregivers and clients, and works to ensure continuity of care. This position plays a critical role in delivering a reliable and high-quality client experience by minimizing gaps in coverage and optimizing caregiver utilization.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain weekly caregiver schedules

Match caregivers to clients based on skills, availability, and needs

Respond to call-outs, no-shows, and last-minute changes

Secure shift coverage quickly to avoid gaps in care

Communicate schedule updates with caregivers and clients

Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records

Monitor coverage, overtime, and caregiver utilization

Coordinate with recruiting team on staffing needs
Qualifications:

2+ years of scheduling, dispatch, or coordination experience

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Experience with Google Suite and scheduling software

Healthcare or home care experience preferred
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday with on-call rotation
