Overview
Long term employer in Central Oregon looking for Class A Truck Driver to operate 2025 Kenworth 880, 565 horse with full locking differentials, in Oregon and Washington while getting home nightly.
Duties
- Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers including flat bed and Curtain Vans.
- Operate in Oregon and Washington, HOME NIGHTLY
- Deliver freight accurately to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during trips.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance needs, and delivery documentation.
Skills
- Proven 2 years experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license to include flat bed experience
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Excellent route planning skills to ensure efficient deliveries across multiple locations.
- Exceptional driving skills in all types of weather, with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service excellence.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
