Duties
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner, taking their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Upsell additional items or upgrades to enhance the customer’s meal experience while meeting sales goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food prep area, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during cashiering duties, including processing transactions efficiently and providing correct change.
- Restock supplies regularly, ensure proper food storage, and assist with bussing tables or cleaning as needed to keep the restaurant tidy.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or a quick service restaurant is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order assembly.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
