American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an IA or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience.

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital environment
-
Shift schedule from 06:30 to 19:00
-
Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
-
26-week contract assignment
-
Active RN license (IA or Compact) currently in hand
-
Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required

Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification required
-
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications preferred

Current BLS, PALS/ENPC, and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association required for direct patient care

Provide emergency nursing care within a hospital emergency department setting

COVID-19 vaccination documentation required for consideration

Local candidates accepted in select states including CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, NC, NE, NY, OH, OR, and PA
