Description: M-2 Truck Drivers Area 2
Okanogan County Public Works is hiring for two M-2 Truck Drivers for Area 2 Okanogan. The M-2 Truck Driver has the primary function and responsibility to operate trucks and light equipment for the Road Division, and to assist in all aspects of maintenance and construction operations on the County’s road system and bridges. This is a full-time position and provides a full benefit package which includes family coverage for medical, dental, vision, employer paid life and disability insurance, Public Employee Retirement options including an employer match, paid holidays, sick and annual leave accruals.
Salary: Full Hourly Salary Range is:
- CDL Apprentice Wage 21.81/hr.
Anticipated hourly hiring wage: $22.96-$25.32 DOE

Required Qualifications: • At least 18 years of age • Valid Washington State Commercial Driver’s License with endorsements (Class-A, Air-Brakes, Tank Vehicles) ? Apprentice CDL program is available • State of Washington Flagging Card and current First Aid Card with CPR – Shall be obtained within the first year of employment • Insurability and a good driving record • A physical examination (minimum DOT) will be required prior to starting work • High School Diploma or GED
