Real Estate Paralegal / Title Processor

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal / Title Processor with strong knowledge of Florida real estate transactions and hands-on experience with title processing and real estate document preparation.
This is a detail-intensive position requiring someone who can independently manage title and closing-related tasks, prepare and review real estate documents, coordinate with clients and professionals, and ensure transactions move efficiently from contract through closing.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, professional, and extremely attentive to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Process residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing.
- Perform and coordinate title processing, including reviewing title searches, title commitments, and related documentation.
- Review title commitments for requirements, exceptions, liens, judgments, open mortgages, taxes, and other potential title issues.
- Coordinate with title companies, lenders, attorneys, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, and other transaction participants.
- Prepare, review, and organize documents required for real estate transactions and closings.
- Draft and prepare various Florida real estate documents, correspondence, notices, affidavits, deeds, and other transaction-related documents as directed.
- Assist with preparation and review of closing documents and settlement-related paperwork.
- Track title requirements, outstanding documents, payoff information, lien releases, and other closing conditions.
- Follow up with all parties to obtain missing information and documentation.
- Monitor transaction deadlines and ensure required tasks are completed timely.
- Identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential issues before they affect the closing.
- Maintain accurate electronic transaction files and records.
- Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, attorneys, title companies, lenders, and real estate professionals.
- Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and organization.
- Handle confidential client, financial, and transaction information with discretion.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a real estate paralegal, title processor, closing coordinator, or similar real estate transaction position — REQUIRED.
- Hands-on experience with title processing — REQUIRED.
- Experience working with Florida real estate transactions — REQUIRED.
- Experience drafting and preparing real estate documents — REQUIRED.
- Strong understanding of the residential real estate closing process.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to independently manage multiple files and deadlines.
- Ability to identify potential title and transaction issues and escalate them appropriately.
- Strong computer skills and experience working with electronic documents and transaction-management systems.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment.
- Professional, reliable, and responsive communication style.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working for a Florida real estate law firm, title company, closing firm, or real estate practice.
- Experience reviewing title commitments and title searches.
- Familiarity with Florida deeds, affidavits, lien releases, mortgage documents, title requirements, and closing documents.
- Experience communicating directly with title underwriters, lenders, attorneys, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers.
- Familiarity with title/closing software and electronic recording systems.
- Notary Public commission is a plus.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be someone who knows the Florida real estate closing process and can hit the ground running.
You should be comfortable working with title commitments and requirements, preparing and reviewing real estate documents, following up with multiple parties, and keeping transactions organized from beginning to end.

Pay: $50,171.25 - $58,238.50 per year
