Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining the highest safety and food handling standards. Your culinary skills will help ensure our guests enjoy delicious, beautifully presented meals in a lively, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Cook menu items according to established recipes, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety management practices
- Follow proper knife skills and slicing techniques for efficient food preparation
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and presentation
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety standards in production and service
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of food safety, handling, and sanitation protocols
- Skilled in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry best practices
- Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques
