Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Shift Leader to oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and lead a team of retail associates. Duties
- Supervise daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and ensure accuracy in cashiering activities.
- Coordinate employee orientation, interviewing new candidates, and participate in recruiting efforts to build a strong team.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Assist with purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to boost sales performance.
Requirements
- Proven supervisory or management experience in retail or customer service environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across shifts.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
- Experience with employee onboarding, training & development programs, and interviewing techniques.
- Knowledge of retail sales strategies, merchandising standards, and store management best practices.
