Sit Down Electric Toyota Forklifts using EZ fingertip control system
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating Toyota Electric Sitdown Forklifts using EZ finger Control System , and pallet jacks, to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within our distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and materials handling will ensure smooth operations, accurate order picking, and timely shipping and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, a commitment to safety standards such as OSHA regulations, and previous experience in warehouse supervision or management. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts
- Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Safely handle materials during order picking, shipping, and receiving activities
- Manage inventory movements using warehouse management systems to maintain accurate stock levels
- Assist with order picking processes for various departments while adhering to safety protocols
- Support warehouse distribution tasks by organizing storage areas and ensuring proper stacking
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate daily operations and improve workflow efficiency
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required while maintaining proper ergonomic practices
- Maintain accurate documentation related to shipments, receipts, and inventory adjustments
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a forklift operator with at least 2yrs on the job experience
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse management system
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
- Excellent materials handling skills with attention to safety procedures
- Demonstrated ability to lift heavy loads consistently and safely
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members across departments
