Following the celebration of 10 years of AAHA accreditation in 2024, we are excited to welcome an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team full-time (32–37 hours/week).

Our fast-paced environment offers assistants the opportunity to utilize and expand their skills while participating in all aspects of patient care and hospital operations, including cross training in reception. Working closely with our veterinarians, assistants are encouraged to take initiative, grow professionally, work independently, and gain valuable hands-on experience with a variety of cases.
- 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant required
- Skilled in surgical preparation, assistance, anesthesia monitoring, patient recovery, dental cleanings, polishing, and dental radiography
- Proficient in patient restraint, digital radiography, and collecting, preparing, and processing a variety of diagnostic samples and tests
- Knowledgeable in inventory management, heartworm, flea, and parasite prevention products, and compliance with DEA and OSHA regulations
- Proficient with practice software, DaySmart Vetter and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted and remain seated or standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted, and to stand/sit for extended periods of time
