Life International Academy is seeking an experienced Elementary Lead Teacher who is looking for more than a classroom job. Position Overview
Position: Elementary Lead Teacher (Grades K–3)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Location: Tampa, Florida
Responsibilities
- Lead a Lower Elementary Montessori classroom
- Maintain an organized and engaging Montessori environment
- Guide individualized student learning and development
- Foster independence, responsibility, and a love of learning
- Communicate effectively with families and colleagues
- Maintain student observations, records, and assessment data
- Participate in school events and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
- Montessori Experience or background preferred
- Minimum 3 years teaching experience in a progressive education environment
- Experience working with multi-age classrooms (Grade K-3rd)
- Strong classroom leadership and communication skills
- Passion for Life-Skills, Montessori philosophy and child-centered education
- Must pass a background screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Compensation & Benefits
- $55,000–$60,000 annual salary based on experience
