Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance department. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and upkeep of our facility, machinery, and equipment. The goal is to ensure high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency, while driving continuous improvement and minimizing operational downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Maintenance Operations: Oversee daily maintenance activities, including facility inspections and repairs to electrical and mechanical systems.
- Preventative Maintenance: Develop, implement, and track a robust preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment breakdowns.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance staff, including delegating tasks and assessing performance.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations.
- Budgeting & Inventory: Manage the maintenance budget, tracking expenses and maintaining an inventory of tools, spare parts, and supplies.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or large projects.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding, electrical, PLC, and mechanical systems.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team, solve problems, and make quick, effective decisions.
- Skills: Proficient in using computer systems (CMMS/Word/Excel) for reporting and scheduling.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and work in varied environmental conditions (hot/cold/loud).
