Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Community Support Team (CST) Qualified Professional to provide community-based mental health and substance use services. This role focuses on delivering person-centered care to individuals with behavioral health needs, helping them build skills, maintain stability, and achieve recovery goals in their natural environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide community-based services including assessment, service planning, and interventions
- Deliver individual and family support in home, school, and community settings
- Assist individuals with skill-building in areas such as coping strategies, daily living skills, and relapse prevention
- Coordinate care with internal team members, external providers, and community resources
- Participate in crisis response and provide support during behavioral health emergencies
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with state and agency standards
- Monitor progress toward person-centered plan goals and update plans as needed
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing trainings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field) required
- Must meet North Carolina Qualified Professional (QP) requirements
- Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within the service area
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, with flexibility based on client needs
- Some evenings or weekends may be required

Work Environment
This position is primarily community-based and requires travel to clients in community settings, and occasional office visits.

Experience:
- SUD Professional: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CADC Certification in North Carolina (Preferred)
