POSITION SUMMARY
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for championing communication internally & externally. The individual in this position will be in communication with internal teams as well as our high level clientele. In this role, you will act in urgency and ensure we are able to provide answers with ease and confidence. You will be an important part of the shipping anchor for all the hard work that has been put forth through the production teams in which the shipping team is the final touch.
There will be high daily proactive planning and organization required to be successful in this role. Timely communication internally and externally is key.
The shipping coordinator is liaison between production & account managers & shipping team that seals the deal of the Culture Experience. This individual is proud in providing our clients with the white glove service and knowledgeable of current projects and planning of shipments.
Shift: Monday-Friday 230pm-11pm
TOP PRIORITIES
- Proactive communication on projects including status, timelines, and shipping methods
- Daily updates to Clients and Account Managers on pending, upcoming and future shipments
- Organization of load board and must ship list for 0 orders missed accuracy
- Answer all incoming emails and calls with shipping updates and correspondence on jobs
POSITION DUTIES
- Coordinate & Organize Pre Shipping Activities proactively
- Correspond with clients inquiries in a timely manner
- Work closely with production departments to ensure projects are set to complete as scheduled utilizing our internal load board and must ship lists
- Collaborate with Sales & Account Management teams on project updates and any client concerns, feedback, or statuses
- Provide a white glove service to clients by answering emails promptly, and beating them to emailed questions that may come up
- Answer inquiries confidently relating to packing/shipping in person, over email or phone
- Be a part of prepping the shipping clerks by organizing the daily load board, and any updates needed
- Work with Packing teams and Shipping clerks on ensuring pallets are staged correctly and ready for pickup.
- Work with Printed floor stock on updates to clients for moving sitting products
- Work with Finance on any printed floor stock sitting over 6 months for charging storage fees and moving to a holding facility
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Bilingual: Strong written and verbal communication in English and Spanish preferred
- 2+ Years of shipping/receiving experience
- Excellent communication skills, self motivated, self starter, sense of urgency, and very personable
- Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Flexible, Friendly, and engaging personality
- Hands on experience with client communication and customer service
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment
