Purpose/Job Role
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will support day-to-day warehouse operations by receiving inventory, picking and packing orders, shipping products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe, organized warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory and materials.
- Unload deliveries and accurately put inventory away according to warehouse procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Stage outbound shipments and ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.
- Coordinate shipments with parcel, LTL, and freight carriers, including FedEx and other transportation providers.
- Prepare shipping documentation and maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Book freight shipments and coordinate pickups to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Respond to shipment and delivery inquiries by providing timely updates to internal teams and customers.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks, where qualified.
- Load, unload, move, label, package, box, and shrink-wrap products as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse that supports efficient operations.
- Follow all warehouse procedures, inventory controls, and Warehouse & Logistics KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization and operational efficiency.
- Support the Corporate Logistics team and assist with additional warehouse projects as required.
- Comply with all company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Report safety concerns, hazards, or incidents promptly.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or logistics environment preferred.
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift and stand-up reach truck is considered an asset.
- Experience using inventory management or warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory counting, measurements, and shipping quantities.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Experience using shipping platforms and carrier websites is an asset.
The successful candidate must be able to:
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs independently.
- Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs with team assistance.
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Push, pull, carry, bend, squat, kneel, and reach as required.
- Climb stairs and ladders when necessary.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment and material handling devices.
- Read labels, shipping documents, and inventory information accurately.
- Work safely in a warehouse environment while maintaining awareness of surrounding equipment and personnel.
Attendance Expectations:
- Regular Attendance: Consistent attendance during scheduled shifts.
- Reliability: Must be dependable and have reliably commute to work.
Additional requirements:
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Must abide by all H&S regulations and policies, including wearing PPE.
- Candidates must be dependable and have reliable transportation.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
