Duties

- Manage inventory control by accurately stocking, organizing, and replenishing parts using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) software.
- Process sales transactions efficiently through cashiering functions, including cash handling and POS operations, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote automotive service offerings, accessories, and marketing initiatives to enhance sales performance.
- Maintain organized stockrooms, perform regular stock checks, and fulfill orders promptly to meet customer demands.
- Utilize communication skills to handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing product information or directing calls appropriately.
- Support dealership or retail sales environments by applying retail math skills for pricing strategies and order fulfillment processes.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks when needed, demonstrating knowledge of automotive repair procedures to support service departments.
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair techniques to assist customers confidently.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems such as CMMS and Microsoft Excel for tracking stock levels and order processing.
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and retail sales operations to ensure smooth transaction flow.
- Excellent organizational skills for stocking, inventory control, and order fulfillment tasks.
- Negotiation skills to upsell products or services while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with dealership or retail environment standards including marketing strategies and retail math calculations.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory assessments; strong retail math skills are essential.
