- Three years of experience in the childcare field
Job Summary
We are looking for a caring and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our center. In this role, you will create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn each day. You’ll build strong relationships with children and families while guiding meaningful learning experiences that support each child’s growth.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom where children feel comfortable and supported
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and learning
- Support children’s social-emotional development using positive, respectful guidance
- Build trusting relationships with families and communicate regularly about their child’s day and progress
- Maintain consistent routines that help children feel secure and confident
- Observe and support each child’s individual development
- Work closely with your team to create a positive, collaborative environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting
- Understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Warm, patient, and responsive approach with children
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to creating a positive experience for children and families

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
