About the Role
We're looking for an Accounting Specialist who enjoys bringing organization to fast-moving environments. You'll own key accounting functions while partnering with operations, sales, and leadership to ensure the business has accurate financial information to make smart decisions.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, improving processes, and taking ownership of their work.

What You'll Be Doing
Accounting & Finance
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and customer billing.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain the General Ledger and prepare journal entries.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close.
- Prepare financial reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Budget vs. Actual reporting.
Project Accounting
- Track project budgets, job costs, and profitability.
- Coordinate billing schedules and retainage.
- Partner with Operations to monitor project financial performance.
Payroll & Administration
- Process payroll through Rippling.
- Manage employee expense reporting and payroll records.
- Support onboarding and HR documentation.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of accounting experience (construction or project-based accounting is a plus)
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Zoho Books experience is a plus)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, team-first attitude
