We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Kitchen Manager to help us continue our success. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Kitchen Manager in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and sanitation
- Supervise the kitchen staff and ensure that all food safety standards are met
- Order and manage inventory
- Train new kitchen staff
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a kitchen management role, and 2+ years of BOH experience
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work weekends
- Serve Safe certified (company paid if re-certification is needed)
- Familiar with cost controls
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Desire to grow with the company
