Construction Safety Coordinator - $27-$29/hr - Fort Worth, TX
We are currently seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator for a long-term commercial construction project in Fort Worth, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with general construction safety experience who wants to continue developing their career in safety.
Position Details
- Location: Fort Worth, TX
- Pay: $27-$29/hour
- Duration: Approximately 1 year
- Full-Time Opportunity: Strong performers may be considered for a permanent position
- Training: 4 days of hands-on, on-the-job training with project safety leadership
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with daily safety activities on an active commercial construction site
- Conduct jobsite walkthroughs and identify potential safety hazards
- Help ensure employees are following OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
- Assist with toolbox talks, safety meetings, and documentation
- Work directly with field employees and site leadership to promote safe work practices
- Help correct unsafe conditions and behaviors as they are identified
- Maintain required safety records and documentation
Requirements
- OSHA 30 required
- CPR certification required
- Previous commercial or general construction safety experience
- Working knowledge of basic OSHA and construction safety practices
- Comfortable working in an active construction environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and work closely with experienced safety leadership
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
