We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will play a vital part in ensuring the deli area is clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches to customers.
- Prepare and serve hot food items using a stove, fryer and oven.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards throughout food preparation processes.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering questions about products.
- Monitor inventory levels of deli products and assist with restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support deli operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a grocery store or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
