National Maintenance is seeking Project Manager Candidates for commercial construction projects in the Greater Philadelphia region. To be considered for this position, candidates should have a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, five or more years of experience in the construction industry, and have a passion for team-based planning and problem-solving and wholehearted commitment to building strong partnerships to support project goals.
National Maintenance and Build Out Company handles commercial remodeling and building maintenance for a number of Fortune 500 clients nationwide. Our Construction department handles remodels, build outs, and special projects in Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Northern Maryland. We are rapidly expanding, as our reputation for excellent and timely service brings us new clients, and we’re looking to bring on driven and hardworking individuals to keep up with our growing demand.
Best suited candidates will possess the following characteristics:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Five years or more of construction project leadership experience.
- Successful completion of classes or other training or experience in construction management, project management, safety, communication, and ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding.
- Demonstrated success in project management positions requiring professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all assigned projects
- Provide support to the Construction Team as directed
- Develop and monitor project schedules
- Prepare and execute schedules of milestones and production goals to ensure schedules are met
- Monitor contract performance to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and customer expectations are maintained or exceeded
- Coordinate project startup and closeout activities
- Attend all project meetings
- Make periodic site visits to assure the scope, schedule and quality of the project are achieved
- Provide project and departmental status reports to members appropriate to the project or initiative
- Ensure accuracy and proper control of all project or initiative documentation, to include, confidentiality for any sensitive information related to project or initiative goals or objectives
- Assess progress and develop action plans to meet productivity, quality, and project goals and objectives throughout the project or initiative life cycle
- Ensure all projects or initiatives follow and are compliant with company policies and procedures, as well as any applicable federal and state laws
- Effectively manage project or initiative scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved
