Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
- Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure a clean and inviting dining environment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients or assembling simple dishes under supervision.
- Support catering and banquet events by providing timely bussing and setup assistance.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and service stations through regular cleaning duties.
- Handle food handling responsibilities safely and according to health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing, cleaning, and basic food prep.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning equipment.
- Experience in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
