We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to inspire students in Pre-K through Grade 8 by fostering a love of music and developing foundational musical skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about music education, creates engaging lessons, and encourages every student to grow in confidence and musical understanding.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging music instruction aligned with Archdiocesan curriculum standards.
- Teach fundamental music concepts through singing, movement, rhythm, instruments, listening, and performance.
- Develop lesson plans that meet the learning needs of students by recognizing their individual strengths and areas for growth.
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
- Assign and evaluate age-appropriate classwork and homework.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Prepare students for concerts
- Communicate with parents, faculty and administration to support student success.
