Duties
As a non medical caregiver, you'll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes by providing:
- Companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Meal preparation/Light Housekeeping
- Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, or environment
- Medication reminders (no medical tasks)
- Errands and transportation to appointments (if applicable)
- Follow care plans and document services provided
- Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if transportation assistance is required)
- Ability to lift 25–50 pounds, depending on client needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic
- 1-year hands-on caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
Job Requirements:
- 18 years old or more
- Have a valid ID
- Able to pass a PA criminal background check
- Able to pass an FBI background check if you have not been a PA resident for 2 years
- TB Clearance
