Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Hospital Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations within our healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management, process improvement methodologies, and healthcare logistics. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with hospital operational needs and industry best practices.
- Lead procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and purchase order management to ensure cost-effective sourcing of medical supplies.
- Oversee inventory control processes utilizing ERP systems to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Direct Hospital-wide purchasing, inventory control, and central sterile supply distribution.
- Optimize warehouse functions and supply workflows (receiving, storage, replenishment) to support patient care.
- Ensure proper documentation, safety standards, and regulatory compliance for medical supplies
Requirements
- Must have hospital materials/ supply chain experience 3 years+
- Proven experience in supply chain management within a healthcare or manufacturing environment, with a focus on hospital or clinical settings.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies including Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles.
- Familiarity with demand planning, production planning, procurement processes, and logistics coordination.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions effectively.
- Strong leadership qualities with the capacity to manage cross-functional teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement in hospital operations.
Experience:
3-7+ years of supply chain management experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in ERP supply chain software, strong analytical skills, and leadership skills for team mentoring.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
