Position Summary
ACM Services, Inc. is seeking qualified Demolition Technicians to become a part of our growing team. Overtime opportunities are available.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
Safely and efficiently dismantle structures using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
- Prepare sites by setting up safety zones and handling debris removal
- Operate demolition machinery as qualified
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members and follow supervisor’s instructions
- Report safety hazards and equipment issues promptly
Qualifications
Minimum Required:
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Previous work experience in demolition or construction
- Minimum of 1 year industry-related experience
- Capable of reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Successful completion of a background check
- Proficiency with mobile technology and job-related applications
Preferred (but not required):
- Current DOT physical certification
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Training
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Confined Space Entry Training
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish preferred)
- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, excavators, scissor lifts, and boom lifts
Working Conditions
- Field work
- Potential exposure to hazardous materials, confined spaces, and outdoor environments
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and required on-site
