Overview:
We are looking for full-time & part-time Animal Attendants to join our team at a fast-paced luxury pet resort in Evans offering boarding, daycare, training, grooming & wellness services.
This position is physically demanding and ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with animals while understanding that pet care is much more than playing with dogs/cats. Animal Attendants are responsible for the daily care , safety, health, and cleanliness of our boarding and daycare guests and play a vital role in maintaining the high standards our clients expect.
Duties:
Animal Attendant duties include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising outdoor daycare playgroups and safely managing dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Reading canine body language and recognizing appropriate versus inappropriate play.
- Following detailed feeding instructions.
- Cleaning kennels, play yards, suites, bowls, litter boxes, accidents, and other pet-related messes throughout the day.
- Completing laundry, washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility at all times.
- Monitoring pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or health and communicating concerns appropriately.
- Working efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and understands that caring for animals is rewarding but also physically and mentally demanding.

- Be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and remain active throughout an entire shift.
- Be comfortable cleaning frequently throughout the day, including pet waste, vomit, urine, diarrhea, and other animal-related messes.
- Be confident handling dogs of various sizes, energy levels, and temperaments.
- Have strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Be punctual, dependable, and maintain a positive, drama-free work environment. Gossip, bullying, and negativity are not tolerated.
Experience Required:
This position is intended for experienced Animal Attendants with the ability to accurately read dog body language and safely supervise playgroups of 8-10 dogs at a time. Candidates should have a solid understanding of canine behavior, health, and safety in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Schedule:
Shift times include a combination of 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.
Weekend and holiday availability is required. These are our busiest operating days, and dependable attendance during peak periods is essential.
Pay & Benefits:
The starting pay for the Animal Attendant position is $13/hr and increases to $15/hr after successful completion of the 90-day probation period.
