Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the workforce, supporting various phases of construction projects from foundation to finishing. Your energy and attention to safety will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing, leveling, and setting up work zones in accordance with construction plans and safety regulations
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as framing, formwork construction, concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and masonry work
- Support rebar installation and metal stud framing to reinforce concrete structures and walls
- Mix and pour concrete using mixers and pumps; perform finishing tasks like troweling, caulking, and sealing to ensure smooth surfaces
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans and specifications
- Handle heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment when necessary, always adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with roofing, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, restoration work, and other trades as needed on-site
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone on site
- Support the installation of formwork and scaffolding; perform concrete cutting and demolition tasks when required
- Contribute to renovation projects by performing carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry or framing
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is highly preferred
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings is essential for precise execution of tasks
- Hands-on experience with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and formwork construction is highly valued
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and commercial driving vehicles safely
- Understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices is mandatory
- Experience in masonry, welding, roofing, tile laying or other specialized trades will be considered an asset

Pay: $24.53 - $29.54 per hour
