Job Overview
We are currently looking for a motivated and dependable Caregiver/PCA/HHA to join our team in the West Haven, Connecticut Area. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others stay active, independent, and engaged in their community.
Duties
- Provide undivided attention to patient.
- Monitor patient for sign of illness or distress and report concerns promptly
- Assist with ADL’s, including bathing, dressing, brushing hair, and nail care.
- Maintain cleanliness of patient home and living spaces.
- Running errands and grocery shopping
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with activities and community trips
- Encouraging engagement and independence
Requirements
- Reliable, Caring, dependable, and professional attitude
- Enjoys working one-on-one with clients
- Motivated and energetic caregiver preferred
- Prior caregiving experience is a plus
