Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a smooth and efficient operation at the front of the house. Your primary focus will be on creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and answering any questions they may have about food items on the menu.
- Take customer orders accurately using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Assist in maintaining food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Provide assistance to customers as needed, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dining areas and service counters.
- Keeping track of supplies that are needed for restock.
- Having a license is a plus as some inventory may need to be picked up from time to time.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or a quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
- Experience with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
