Summary:
Performs maintenance service and light repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine service, electrical, tile work, furniture repair, upholstery, welding, and/or vehicle servicing. Always presents a friendly and professional image at the casino.
Responsibilities:
1. Performs minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities under the guidance and supervision of the Facilities Shift Manager.
2. Repairs furniture, doors, windows, cabinet work, small appliances and equipment; replaces light bulbs, filters, dimmers, locks and other duties as assigned by shift supervisor.
3. Diagnoses and resolves minor facility or equipment problems with or without assistance.
4. Assists with furniture set-up and construction, office moves, changes, and redesign.
5. Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
6. Assures prompt, courteous service to all customers, internal and external.
7. Operates within the safety rules and codes set by the company.
8. Operates company vehicles to perform service for the company.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION
Ability to read, write and understand English.
EXPERIENCE
Basic computer skills, including email, time-clocks/electronic time-clocks.
1 year experience in facilities maintenance required, and
Training in at least one technical area above, e.g.; electrician, plumber, etc
Class II or III Casino experience preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License.
Must have the ability to pass comprehensive background check, drug test, and obtain gaming license when required.
JOB DEMANDS

Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, work at heights, work in confined spaces, crawl on knees, raise/reach arms overhead and work effectively whilst doing so. Must also be able to maneuver industrial equipment, carry awkward sized equipment (e.g.: ladder), bend down, pick up, and get in and out of a variety of on-site vehicles. Must be able to stand long periods of time and/or walk in excess of 1.5 miles per 8 hour shift. Has ability to lift and carry at least 60 lbs. or 55 lbs. during a team lift. Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, frequent ascent/descent from bus stairs, travel to various on/off site venues, which may involve elevation changes in surfaces. Visual acuity to discern and examine text, graphics, color and symmetry. Speech to communicate clearly, express ideas and convey information in an understandable manner. Ability to hear for listening comprehension and to understand ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and examine documents, records and files.

Work in motor vehicle, casino resort, food & beverage operations, and/or external environments; exposure to second hand smoke, high noise level, bright lights, fluctuating temperatures/weather conditions. Must understand and perform within safety policies and procedures.
