Job Summary
Looking for a CERTIFIED auto mechanic Lots of work available. Starting pay based on certificates held and experience, paid flat rate. Need to be able to diagnose and repair assigned vehicle. Light duty diesel repair a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques, including the use of an Ohmmeter.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including an Ohmmeter.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in mechanics is a plus.
