JOB
Under immediate supervision, performs a variety of entry level, semi-skilled tasks, as needed, to expedite the day-to-day functions of the District’s Fleet Operations Division; acts as a mechanic helper as needed; and performs related work as required.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Serves as a member of the Fleet Operations maintenance team; pre and post trips vehicles, collecting debris and equipment; performs fleet interior and exterior vehicle cleaning.

Fuels or charges vehicles.

Acts as a “shuttling” driver to relocate buses and other District vehicle inventory to needed to service sites or to deliver to maintenance locations.

Assists as a mechanic helper; provides hands-on help to mechanics engaged in complex operations.

Washes and cleans buses as needed

Observes and complies with all District and mandated safety rules, regulations, and protocols.

Performs other duties as assigned.
