Job Title: Plumber / Pipefitter – Commercial Projects
Job Description
This role focuses on plumbing and pipefitting for commercial projects across the state, including installation, piping, threading, brazing, soldering, and related mechanical work. You will interpret blueprints, install and connect piping systems, and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards in a commercial environment.
Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and maintain plumbing and piping systems for commercial projects across the state.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan and execute installations accurately.

Perform brazing and soldering on pipes and fittings to create secure, leak-free connections.

Measure, cut, thread, and fit pipes according to project specifications and industry standards.

Install ductwork and related sheet metal components as part of HVAC and mechanical systems.

Assist with HVAC-related installations, including piping and duct connections.

Inspect completed installations to verify proper operation, alignment, and compliance with applicable codes.

Troubleshoot and correct issues with piping, ductwork, and mechanical installations as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized work area and handle tools and equipment safely.

Collaborate with other trades on-site to coordinate installation activities and meet project timelines.
Essential Skills-
Proven experience in commercial plumbing and pipefitting, including installation, piping, threading, and mechanical fitting.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for plumbing, piping, and HVAC systems.

Strong brazing and soldering skills for various piping materials and fittings.

Hands-on experience with sheet metal work and duct installation in commercial settings.

Knowledge of HVAC-related piping and ductwork installation practices.

Proficiency with hand and power tools used in plumbing, pipefitting, and sheet metal work.

Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and safety practices for commercial mechanical installations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications-
Experience working on multiple commercial projects across different locations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
