Part-Time Sommelier — Ybor City Wine Bar
Ybor City Wine Bar is Centro Ybor's one-of-a-kind pour list: 200 wines by the glass, 100 craft beers, and small plates built for lingering. We're not a stuffy tasting room, and we want a sommelier who makes that experience feel personal every time.
Who we're looking for:
This role is as much about attitude as it is about palate. We need someone upbeat, hospitality-minded, and genuinely energized by talking wine with strangers. You're comfortable holding down a solo shift and just as comfortable syncing up with a small team when the room gets busy. If you light up a bar just by being in it, we want to meet you.
What you'll do:
- Guide guests through our by-the-glass list with confidence and warmth, whether they know exactly what they want or need pointed in the right direction
- Work solo shifts and small-team shifts with equal ease
- Pitch in on food prep and light kitchen duties as needed
- Keep the energy up and the hospitality genuine, shift after shift
What you bring:
- A flexible schedule
- High energy and a natural sense of hospitality
- WSET certification a plus, not a requirement
- Beer knowledge a plus
