Key Qualifications:
- Hold Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and be eligible to work in South Carolina
- Possess ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience delivering speech-language services to school-aged children, preferably in K-8
- Skilled in speech and language evaluations and eligibility determination
- Confident in developing and writing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of up to 30 students, primarily in Kindergarten through 5th grade
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student eligibility for speech-language services
- Develop, write, and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records of progress and services, ensuring compliance with school and governmental guidelines
- Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to foster student success
- Flexibility to deliver services remotely, in-person, or a combination
