Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician and Site Manager to lead the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire alarm systems across multiple sites. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that fire alarm systems operate flawlessly to protect lives and property. As a key member of our team, you will oversee daily site operations, coordinate service activities, and ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems, sensors, and related low voltage electrical components using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, system design documents, and CAD drawings to accurately execute installations and modifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of fire alarm systems and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Manage daily site operations, including scheduling service calls, coordinating with clients, and supervising field technicians to meet project deadlines.
- Perform construction inspections related to fire alarm system integration within new or existing buildings, ensuring adherence to safety codes and specifications.
- Oversee system upgrades, testing procedures, and commissioning processes for fire alarm installations in accordance with industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records of system configurations, service reports, schematics updates, and inspection logs for regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a fire alarm technician or service technician with strong electrical background; familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting is a plus.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings; capable of understanding system design concepts.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as sensors and NEC-compliant wiring practices.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, sensors, alarms, fire alarm protocols, and electrical safety standards.
- Experience in construction inspection or overseeing installation projects within commercial or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of fire alarm system sales processes as well as service delivery; ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to manage multiple sites effectively while maintaining high safety standards; leadership skills for supervising field staff.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
