The Role
This isn't your average, staring-at-a-wall retail gig. As an Event Team Member, you are the face of Batch 3. You will be responsible for getting our mobile ice cream setup to the venue, bringing the footprint to life, engaging with excited crowds, and ensuring every scoop is served with a smile. It is a fast-paced, highly active, and incredibly rewarding role where no two days look the same.
Key Responsibilities
- The Drive & Setup: Safely transport our equipment by driving the company vehicle and towing our ice cream trailer to and from event locations. Unload and set up the event footprint, including a heavy-duty pop-up tent, ice cream cart, signage, and equipment.
- The Scoop: Serve up our delicious ice cream quickly, efficiently, and beautifully, while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards.
- The Register: Confidently operate our mobile POS/register system, handle transactions accurately, and keep the line moving smoothly.
- The Vibe: Engage with customers of all ages - from hyper kids at birthday parties to wedding guests and corporate clients. You are there to elevate their experience.
- The Breakdown: Pack up the cart, tent, and supplies at the end of the event, hitch up the trailer, and ensure the site is left spotless.
What We’re Looking For
- On-the-Road Confidence: You must be 18+, possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Preferably, you are comfortable and experienced with driving and maneuvering a trailer (will train as needed).
- Physical Stamina: This role requires heavy lifting (must be able to comfortably lift and move up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods, often outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Customer Service Superstars: You are naturally outgoing, enthusiastic, and possess a "people-first" mindset. You can strike up a conversation with anyone and handle busy lines with grace and a smile.
- Adaptability: You thrive in dynamic environments. You're just as comfortable navigating a bustling festival crowd as you are maintaining a professional demeanor at a formal wedding.
- Reliability & Punctuality: Events depend on strict timelines. We need team players who show up on time, every time, ready to roll.
