The Patient Safety Technician is responsible for patent monitoring tasks, which have a moderate degree of difficulty. Employee will be expected to be involved with maintaining the safety of patients to which the employee is assigned to monitor. Employee will also be responsible for managing situations in which patients present volatile behavioral health characteristics and call for assistance as needed.

Qualifications:
Ability to read and write.
One year of job-related experience providing direct patient care or within public safety preferred.
Proven experience to communicate with the public and patients in a tactful, intelligent, and authoritative manner.
Completion of (SCIPP) Safe Crisis Intervention of Patients and Professionals training within the first 90 days of employment and on an annual basis.
Completion of Patient Safety Technician (PST) Training Program within 90 Days of employment.
