Co-op Supply is looking for a Warehouse person to join our team! We are looking to fill full-time positions for our Everett store. The successful person in this position will be self-motivated, proactive, energetic, and willing to support all members of our team at Co-op Supply
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to all customers and participate in team environment to accomplish daily tasks in the warehouse, outside yards and store. This position is instrumental in loading/unloading and maintaining product for staff and customers at the retail stores to improve the cooperative’s efficiency and help achieve the cooperative’s mission and goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment including warehouse, yard and store front at all times
- Politely greet and fulfill customer orders with attention to detail and follow receipt procedures
- Must prioritize workload and multitask in fast paced environment, with excellent follow through
- Contribute to team efforts of accomplishing daily tasks, with ability to take direction
- Offload incoming freight trucks, verifying incoming loads against packing slips, report any discrepancies
- Fill in as the back-up delivery driver
- Managing/Containing freight until received through proper procedures
- Safely fill Propane tanks
- Safely operate a forklift to move, load and organize pallets and other large, heavy products
- Follow daily stocking and rotational procedures for overall sight, in store, warehouse, yard and store front
- Communicate to Purchaser when products are out of stock
- Obtain and maintain all safety training and certification necessary to position
- Performs other duties as directed by management
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have the ability to work a flexible work schedule Monday thru Sunday
- Have excellent time management and organizational skills
- Have excellent communication skills
- Farm experience/knowledge is preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Physical ability to be highly active for extended periods of time
- Ability to spend long hours outdoors in all types of weather
- Ability to lift 50lbs regularly and more at times
