ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Metal inert gas (MIG) weld 1/16” to 1/4” gauge mild and stainless-steel components together using .035 to .045 diameter fluxcore hardwire welding equipment.
- Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Understand industrial safety procedures for welders and adhere to company safety standards at all times.
- Have good problem-solving skills, basic math skills.
- Able to take direction, communicate with others, and complete tasks efficiently with a high level of quality.
- Training and experience operating a forklift, jib crane, and overhead crane.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to interpret CAD and SolidWorks drawings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience welding.
- Practices a strong work ethic.
- Possesses qualities such as productivity, dependability, resourcefulness, efficiency, and professionalism.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Welding certification from an educational institution.
- Minimum two-year welding experience
JOB LOCATION:
Works at the Waconia facility.
Compensation starting at $24/hour based on experience + shift differential
