ESPORTS CENTER GAMING ASSOCIATE (PART-TIME) (Gardena)
Compensation: $16.90 Hourly.

Position: Gaming Associate (Part-Time) - Night Shift (6:00pm to 2:00am)
Location: Gardena, 90247
Responsibilities: Reporting to the General Manager, the Gaming Associate will provide support to all customers in the form of fantastic customer service. Your daily duties will include, but not be limited to:
-- Front desk receptionist duties greeting fellow gamers.
-- Front desk cashier operating daily transactions of time and POS item purchases accurately.
-- Sell, prepare, and serve variety of snacks, and beverages to customers in a timely, friendly manner.
-- Restock inventory as needed.
-- Emphasis on many janitorial duties include cleaning the bathroom toilet, bathroom sink, computers and peripherals, desks, monitors, chairs, mopping, vacuuming, and taking out the trash.
-- Consistently walk, stand, and/or patrol the floor.
-- Troubleshoot various computer related issues and apply Management requested fixes.
-- Close and/or open the store if needed.
-- Other special projects as needed.
Requirements:
-- California Food Handler Card is required, or will need to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
-- Strong aptitude and knowledge of PC-based video games and esports titles.
-- Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 based operating systems.
-- Strong attention to cleaning detail.
-- Able to manage yourself independently.
-- Able to appropriately prioritize customer requests.
-- Provide superior and prompt customer service.
-- Consistently available to work at least two full shifts per week.
-- Good typing speed and grammatical skills.
Experience: The Gaming Associate will be a PC gaming enthusiast and tech savvy team player who is comfortable working independently in an exciting environment. He/she will be a good listener who can follow managements direction and is able to multi-task with ease and be eager to learn quickly. Additionally, the successful candidate will troubleshoot various gaming, computer hardware, and Windows 10/11 issues. The successful candidate has a flexible schedule that can accommodate additional hours or shifts as needed.
