Technical Sales Engineer
Precision Drive Systems (PDS) is a leading provider of precision spindle design, repair, rebuild, remanufacturing, and electromechanical motion solutions serving the aerospace, automotive, woodworking, metalworking, composites, and industrial manufacturing and machine robotics markets.
PDS is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Engineer to help manufacturers improve productivity, reduce downtime, and maximize equipment performance through industry-leading spindle repair, replacement, monitoring, and automation solutions.
What You'll Do
· Develop and grow customer relationships across CNC, robotics, and automation markets.
· Generate new business opportunities and manage the sales process from prospecting through closing.
· Serve as a trusted technical advisor helping customers solve complex manufacturing challenges.
· Recommend spindle repair, rebuild, replacement, monitoring, and engineered solutions.
· Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and ROI-focused proposals.
· Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.
What We're Looking For
· 5+ years of technical B2B sales experience.
· Background in CNC machinery, industrial automation, robotics, machine tools, motors, or manufacturing equipment.
· Strong communication, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
· Ability to understand customer challenges and develop value-driven technical solutions.
· Engineering or technical manufacturing experience preferred.
