As an integral team member in the Communications Division this position serves as a primary liaison connecting Keep Arkansas Beautiful (KAB) Central Office with affiliates, schools, educators, youth organizations, nonprofit organizations, and community partners across Arkansas. The role focuses on expanding awareness, participation, and engagement in KAB mission areas through education, outreach, training, and partnership development.

- Collaborate with the KAB Program Coordinator to support statewide outreach, affiliate engagement, educational initiatives, and public participation efforts.
- Serve as a public-facing representative of Keep Arkansas Beautiful and regularly participate in statewide meetings, educational activities, conferences, cleanup events, and outreach initiatives.
- Support statewide affiliate engagement, educational outreach, school partnerships, and community participation efforts that expand the reach and impact of Keep Arkansas Beautiful programs and initiatives.
- Support coordination, tracking, and distribution of educational materials and outreach resources for Keep Arkansas Beautiful initiatives.
- Support outreach, coordination, and engagement efforts related to grant opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
Education and experience: The educational equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, marketing, communications, or a related field OR the educational equivalent to a diploma from an accredited high school plus four years of related experience. Experience in community relations, educational outreach, program administration or a related area.
Knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs effectively. Strong time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects at once. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for public engagement and stakeholder coordination. Strong public speaking and presentation abilities to represent the Department at events. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, including government agencies, businesses, and community members. Ability to analyze data, assess program effectiveness, and implement improvements. Knowledge of state and federal policies related to conservation, recycling and community beautification/improvement programs.
Working conditions: Office environment. Frequent in-state travel.
Licenses, registrations and certifications: Valid driver’s license.

This position does not require theoretical and practical application of highly specialized knowledge or a bachelor’s degree or higher in the field; thus, this position is not eligible for H-1B visa sponsorship.
