Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and energetic PM shift Houseman/Maintenance professional to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency across our property during evening hours. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across guest areas, hallways, and service spaces.
- Conduct floor care activities such as polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning to uphold high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
- Maintain the cleanliness of public spaces, restrooms, and back-of-house areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks including light repairs, fixture replacements, and troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
- Support hotel housekeeping management by ensuring all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards and reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Utilize janitorial supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift operations and uphold the hotel’s commitment to exceptional service.
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or hotel environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques is advantageous.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management or hospitality services will help you excel in this role.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, safety procedures, and sanitation standards is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during evening shifts while maintaining high-quality standards.
